Scriptures: 2 Samuel 12:7-9 and Psalm 51:1-12
* What are your regrets?
* What is the difference between a mistake and a sin?
* How does sin turn into shame?
* How can God redeem your sin?
Applications:
___ I have lots of regrets, guilt and shame.
___ I need to pray like David did in Psalm 51.
___ Today, I have given Christ my guilt and shame and let him nail to the cross.
___ I would be willing to share my story of either depression, loneliness or hard times.

Week 2: Hold on to Carrying and Caring
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians Chapters 2-3
Paul is like a STEWARD because he has been ENTRUSTED with the gospel (1Thess.2:4)
Paul is like a MOTHER because he has been GENTLE (1Thess 2:7)
Paul is like a FATHER because he has been ENCOURAGING, COMFORTING, and URGING them to live lives worthy of the Kingdom (1 Thess. 2:11)
Paul is like a HERALD becaus he speaks of what has come and what is coming.
Like Paul, we are called to CARRY the message and CARE for the people.
Applications:
[ ] I will memorize 1 Peter 5:6-11
[ ] How can I be more like Paul in these chapters?

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians Chapter 1
God is in them and in His Church (v1).
The Church should be known by faith , love , and hope (v3).
Sin is like gravity . It doesn't take effort, it just happens unless we move againts it.
We are to become imitators of the Lord (v6).
Jesus rescues (v10).
Applications:
[ ] Memorize 1Peter 5:6-11
[ ] I have not been holding on to Jesus like I should, but I will.
[ ] I have not been reaching out to help others, but I will.
